Our vision at SAGOL is the creation of a critical mass of individuals who are committed to change, exercise courageous introspection, are attentive to others, opt for love and lead a life of self-fulfillment. To achieve this goal we have created a space in which people may undergo personal transformation.
We are disseminating our vision by staging events that are oriented towards self-growth and self-awareness.
The SAGOL Festival, the major event sponsored by our company, has become a household name in Israel. It is a festival for the spiritually minded, featuring professionals who conduct a wide range of workshops and meditation sessions, all oriented toward self-growth and self-improvement. .
The SAGOL Festival, which is a first in the sphere of personal and social awareness in Israel, has become a platform and melting pot for those seeking spiritual essence and awareness in this country. Many spirituality-oriented centers, schools and workshop retreats have followed suit, many of them taking shape following their participation in SAGOL Festivals year after year.
While the first SAGOL Festival was attended by 350 people, over recent years the Festival has attracted turnouts of 5,000.
In Kfar Sagol we host 550 participants.
The Sagol Love and Meditation Festival will start at noon on Thursday and continue until Saterday evening .
The bi-annual Festival will take place at "Kfar Sagol". People from all over the country and world will gather to participate in the many varied activities offered.
An example of some of more than 50 workshops one can experience at the SAGOL Festival include several types of workshops, movement and body awareness workshops, yoga, tantra, shamanism, meditation and art workshops and many more.
Every year we are honored and privileged to be hosting experienced spiritual teachers from abroad. In addition there will be great Israeli teachers, each a leader in his or her method.
There will also be workshops for women only and children only.
The children tent is a fantastic world of exciting and varied activities for kids of all ages, and is open from morning to night.
Participate and experience one of the many workshops or enjoy a treatment/massage in Reiki, Reflexology, Breema, etc....

The Negev is a desert region that covers the southern half of Israel. The least populated area in Israel, it is home to (among others) the nomadic desert people known as the Bedouin and unique African wildlife. The Negev offers some spectacular scenery and is home to captivating sites and places.
Kfar Sagol is located in the north of the Negev in a moshav where there are large open spaces, a great deal of green with over 500 trees, pools and workshops and festivals for self and environmental awareness taking place which the volunteers are allowed to participate in for free.
About the place: SAGOL ECO VILLAGE:
Sagol Village is a unique eco-village built from mud and local and recycled materials. The village is nestled in a moshav one hour south of tel aviv. Sagol Eco-Village was created by a young couple with a dream who started by making "SAGOL" the first and largest spiritual festival in Israel. After ten years they decided to find a home for the festival and to fulfill the principles of simplistic living and close contact to the earth and created Kfar Sagol. Guests are hosted from around the world to enjoy this stunning place and to learn about sustainable living and self-growth.
Volunteer work and contribution:
Volunteers will mainly assist with the construction and maintenance of the eco-village (mud building, fence repair, landscaping, and more) and organic gardening and other tasks contributing to the community such as cooking (6 hours per day, 6 days per week).
Working with earth is completely different than working with cement, acrylic plastering and other such materials. Earth is a durable material that can be revived and endure a long sculpturing process. It's also a lot of fun getting dirty by working with your hands.
Travel Highlights:
After work hours volunteers can relax by our new eco pool, enjoy the community atmosphere with others, watch the sunset over the desert, and just chill out under the stars. Volunteers will recieve 1 day off a week to explore other regions of Israel such as Tel Aviv, Eilat and Jerusalem by using regional busses that travel all over the country.

• Conversational English or Hebrew
• Good physical fitness
• Strong work ethic
• Motivation to do physical and demanding work
